[Biggie]

I figure its been a while since we had one of these. And I think its fun seeing everybody elses spaces. I'll start off with mine.

I pretty much rock it like Owl in my parents basement. Its quite an interesting one at that since it used to be a dug out shelter.

Well I hate you give ya a repeat...but the battery is dead on my camera and my room hasn't really changed.

Just replace the ****ty guitar with a new blue les paul I bought a few months ago.

Here we start at the foot of my bed. I keep some art things there even though if I draw at all nowadays it's at the desk. This is probably the clearest part of my room.

Turning left we see my electric guitar, amp, and some discarded posters that I haven't hung on my wall either cause of having no room (the silent hill one), or just not wanting to (The Hills Have Eyes). Yes, I know FAB pedals suck. Also you can catch a small glimpse of Grandma Grizlo, the fuzzy pink dolphin on the left.

Turning left once more this is my wall of movie posters, starting with my favorite movie of all time (The Shawshank Redemption) and next to it is a movie I like less and less over time but it's the first movie poster I ever got.

Left again we get to the corner that my door covers when it's open, there's a Goblet of Fire poster there.

Left again we see the tall dresser I had mentioned earlier, some of you might remember me having all my toys and **** on this, now some toys remain and whole lot of junk took it's place. But overall it's actually clearer than it used to be.

Yeah...it's kind of like my messy living quarters as well. I'm letting you know right now, I WILL be necro'ing this topic in mid-March sometime. Right now, my living space is a filthy hovel. I've not fully unpacked and put stuff away since I moved here a year ago this month. I'll have a week of vacation in March sometime, and I plan to do a thorough overhaul of my basement room. Right now, all my CDs/VHS/DVDs are either in boxes, or strewn randomly about the room. My video games are either in a milk crate, or, once again, strewn about the room. So when I get a cohesive place together, and am able to show my movie/video game collection, I'll add to this thread. For now, though, it's kinda like JPS' pics, but I am unwilling to show this to the Pavilion at large.

it was sarcastic. how on earth do you explain the bad photo quality, color issues, and shaky picture? it looks like the quality a web cam would produce, and if you used a digital camera then its really evil old technology.

This is my rabbit Smokey's area. he has his toys, a piece of cardboard (from the cooling pad box for my laptop), a cardboard tube, grass, and his humidifier. he's prone to respiratory infections because of bad breeding. he likes the humidifier. he tugs at the switch on the cord when he wants it on.

My new entertainment center. The only syste,s I have hooked up right now are the Wii, PS2 (ontop of VCR) and PS3. Soon I'll figure out where to put the systems piled up on that bookcase. I would like to not have to deal with the PS2, but it's required for RPG Maker Pavilion file conversions. there's a saturn there, a genesis, a really old EGM, Sonic 2's case, an NES, a dreamcast, an SNES, and an N64. those boxes are filled with transformers.

The area above the TV has become my main display area. I used to have stuff like this all over my room, but I'm trying a "less is more" thing. Some of my favorite things are represented here. Megaman, Gundam, Transformers, GaoGaiGar.

Ontop of the bookcase, there are 15 Transformers Alternators figures. These all turn into real-word cars, are incredibly complex, and all 1:24 scale. I have six more elsewhere. Need to get the last six they released eventually. It's a pricey line. The red one on the bottom row? that sucker can go for around $250. I paid $20. I am not stupid. Also, PS1, DC, and saturn games. there's a few more import PS1 games in my collection, but they obviously will not fit up there.

What's inside the cabinet under my TV. my glasses (I wear glasses?!?), the MGS2 soundtrack just kidna sitting there, some old cart-based games, and on the bottom shelf there are my calvin & hobbes books, the printed issue of the RPG Maker Magazine (the spiral bound thing) a big white box of nothing but the Dreamwave transformer comics (all of them are in there), and some strategy guides. I'm still trying to organize stuff, so I may end up putting more cartridges down there, or pull everything out and change it around again. I've only had this entertainment center for about a week and I have no clue how I want to arrange stuff on it. Also, DS and a Super Mario World watch.

My computer, it's name is "computator". It is very nice, and very large for a laptop. It was also almost $1700 dollars, but a $400-off coupon code dropped it into my price range. so I got it.

These are the only PC games I own that will run on my computer. All the others are various Megaman PC games that don't like vista (or even XP in the case of some of the earlier ones). I'm not much of a PC gamer.

A very special Armored Core 2 figure. It's a hand-painted prototype. It's not made out of the same materials as the production run, it has different paint applications, there are mold differences, and there's a "Thank You!!" sticker on it's right shoulder. I'm not the only one at the pav who has one either, a lot of the old agetec forum crew (who are now here) got them as a gift from agetec years ago.

Well 1 TV, 4 monitors (the big one is also an HDTV techinically), 3 computers and my work laptop. And the TV is sitting diagonally on the L Desk.

Yeah yeah. And everything is off at night (no hum for me), and I cover most of the brighter LEDs cause I like to keep my room dark when I sleep. But yeah there are a lot of cables, even more now that I have an XBox 360 and Rock band.

The freezer is stock full as I gave up soda for Lent, so I now make smoothies from ice, sorbet (being lactose intolerant) and frozen fruit. There's also McAin 5 minute fries- they taste like McDonald's fries and won't make you sick!!

I once seriously considered buying a $100 sword, but it was handcarved green jade. I ended up getting a 27" Widescreen tv instead. You'll see when I get some pics of my own room up that I don't even have room for all the crap I have already, and that the tv I had previously is absolutely tiny. Seriously, it looks like something my new tv pooped.

And to conclude this tour, I give you the most boring feature: my closet. Yes, I do own a lot of shirts. A lot more of which I store in my dresser. If you look closely you'll see a pair of handcuffs hanging in the back (they are from my childhood, but everyone thinks I'm kinky so I just keep them there) and some of that Whey Protein crap that I drink every morning that I decide to work out.

lol, it was really late and I was really tired. I didn't post them the next morning because all kinds of crap happend, and didn't after that because I am a procrastinator to the Nth degree.

P.S. Believe it or not, those were ALL cropped and resized. I would have shrunk them more, but I was afraid of losing important details in some of them. I'll resize them further, but I don't see the problem with thumbnails. The problem with big pics is that they slow down the loading of the thread, and they warp the forum layout. Thumbs eliminate that issue. At any rate, you'll see my room tommorow.

An end table next to my couch. Lately, I've been sleeping on my couch a lot, so everything I need is right there, including my PSP (I listen to an ambient station on PSP's internet radio function as I fall asleep), my iPod dock/clock radio (it has a miniplug input as well, so I hook my PSP up as I fall asleep), and random various epherema. I plan to get a Logitech Harmony remote at some point in the future to replace those 5 remotes on the table. Also, the end table has a door underneath, and I keep all my controllers/connections/etc there in order to avoid having them connected to my consoles and sitting all over the room.

Right now, my bedroom is a dumping ground for clothes...as I cleaned up my area this week, I figured the "living room" is more important to look presentable, and I could throw all my clothes in the bedroom temporarily, as I rarely sleep in there anyway.

I figure that in order to FULLY get my room the way I want it, I need to spend about another $400-$500. That would include surround speakers (I only have a pair of JBL bookshelves now and I think they are blown), the Logitech Harmony remote, a fiber optic switchbox (my receiver only has one fiber optic in, and my Xbox 360, PS3, and Dish Network all have fiber optic outs) and two more fiber optic cables, a Bluetooth keyboard for use on my PS3 when creating RPGM3 games and browsing the internet, and that might be about all I need to deck this out how I want it to be. I'm pretty broke right now, though, so all of this will have to come in the future...with the Bluetooth keyboard probably being my next purchase.


So that's where I live.

I'm not even sure if the Samsung remote is the actual one for the TV. I bought it from work as an open item display model (albeit one that had not even been plugged in or turned on) for less than $400, and it might be a remote that was just sitting around the department, and not the REAL remote for the TV.

I also bought the RCA upconvert DVD player as an open item display model (once again, it HAD been plugged in, but never had been used to play a DVD) for $45. Again, I'm not sure if this is the REAL remote for it, or just one that was laying around the department.
