    New Super Mario Bros. + Superstar Saga 2

    Pretty damn cool. Here's where you can find the streaming vids:

    NSMB is apparently a whole new game. You seem to be able to take control of Mario and Luigi together for two-player stuff. As for the new Superstar Saga, you've got baby Mario and baby Luigi on your side along with Mario and Luigi themselves.

    Sweet!! so what the sequel to Superstar saga about bet there's going to be new things for the game.
    There is one thing that pretty much disturbes me in an SRPG....

    Maronakins.

      The first one was fun, although frustrating at times(figuring out how to do the Bros. attacks properly was an excerise in patience, and I hated getting hit by enemies, when I could dodge/counter them).

        New SMB - FINALLY, a new sidescrolling mario game! We haven't seen one of those since....Super Mario World. Or Yoshi's Island, if you want to count that.

        SuperStar Saga 2 - Okay, there's going to be quite a time paradox in this one.

        And then there's Mario Kart DS, which as I understand it, is going to be online (or are all multiplayer DS games that?), and appears to be filled with locations from previous Mario Kart games, such as Mario Curcuit 1 (Super MK), Moo Moo Farm (MK64), and that Yoshi-shaped place in Double Dash, along with some new places.

              News on Superstar Saga 2's story: Mario & Luigi go back in time to save Princess Peach from some event and end up meeting the baby versions of themselves. Thus, the four of them go on to kick paradoxical a**.

              Explains a lot.

                This'll certainly help explain how Mario and Luigi can play golf/tennis/baseball/soccer/go-karts with their younger selves.

                Whatever happened to the idea of Mario and Luigi being raised in, oh I can't remember, some place in the real world. New York?

                    You can't say that unless you're not counting remakes on the GBC/GBA, or the original Super Star Saga. Also, there are a few side scrolling minigames in other Mario games, like Paper Mario 2, and Super Smash Brothers Melee. But those are only part of the game, not a whole game themselves.


                    I couldn't find the E3 videos. I guess that's because I'm lazy and didn't look very hard.

                      Why would I count the remakes? We're talking about a new Mario sidescroller, and I'm talking about the last time we had a new Mario sidescroller. Remakes aren't technically new.

                      And Super Star Saga wasn't a sidescrolling Mario game. The rest weren't the whole games. Smash came the closest, but of course not all of it (even the adventure mode) was sidescrolling.

                        I searched again, and the only Mario games I could find were that Yoshi game, and another Mario Tennis. Are you sure it's on there?

                        Draygone, the remakes had new stuff, like DX had all of the Lost Levels. So the bonus stuff was new. But whatever. What wasn't sidescrolling in Super Smash Brothers/Melee?

                            I don't get it. How can Mario and Luigi coexist with Baby Mario and Baby Luigi. Are Baby Mario and Baby Luigi younger versions of Mario and Luigi? Bowser Jr. is supposed to be one of Bowser's Kid. So are Baby Mario and Baby Luigi supposed to be Mario and Luigi's kids? Who's the momma? Princess Toadstool? Are Baby Mario and Baby Luigi supposed to be brothers? Seeing as how the series is Mario Bros. that makes sense, but then how does that work for Baby Luigi? Is he just a kid of Mario and mearly Luigi's namesaken nephew? That seems kind of ****ty for Luigi. So is Baby Mario Mario's kid and Baby Luigi Luigi's kid? That seems more right somehow. But then Baby Mario and Baby Luigi would be cousins and that seems to defeat the point of Mario Brothers. Now if Baby Mario and Baby Luigi were sired by each respective Mario Brother it would have to be by the same women. Namely Princess Toadstool. Which of course I could dig that. Little ho bag princess Toadstool. You know she's got to be worse than Paris Hilton. I know you've all seen the Toadstool sex tape. Man ho ass Princess Toadstool.

                              Also, the game deals with time travel, so Baby mario and baby Luigi could actually BE younger incarnations of Mario and Luigi.
