comedy game in the works

I have spent my time compilling as many RPG cliches as possible and am going to create an RPG using them all. It will be ironically titled
Super Origional RPG!, or project SOR for short. Oh, and I apologize for that earlier post on the Grand list of RPG cliches forum. I didn't notice how old it was.

On second thought, I'll only be able to put up most of the cliches.

I apologize for the way I acted in that post, but we've had a LOT of new people resurrecting threads lately with useless posts that contributes nothing to the original post.

I think this idea has already been attempted, not sure though.

I think there are 2 comedy games at the Mag that attempt humor from RPG Cliches. I can't remember the first but Untraditional was a game that poked at cliches but it did have some original jokes. Haven't played it though.

as long as we're over it. anyway, my game will incorporate as many of the 192 cliches I saw on the list. If anyone has some more suggestions for what they'd like to see in such a game, let me know. Also, does anybody have any Ideas for character names? If you have an idea for a name(s), post them here. If they're good enough, I'll use them. I'm pretty sure Mintobrandybuck did one of these "contests" too.

UPDATE:

I've scrapped the name SOR. now I'm deciding between First Fairy tale and Final Fantasy seven-ten split( because the "plot" will consist somewhat of a mish-mash of events similar to final fantasies seven and ten.)

Well, in order to make it comedy gold, he should have the main characters be Jim Carrey, Larry the Cable Guy, Jack Black, and Will Ferrel. And then make the final boss be Will Smith.

Throw in Ice Cube and Tim Allen as NPCs, and it's already in a fantasy setting. It's a recipe for a great RPG.

Update:

I've finished the short version of the story, the "limit breaks", and the weapons list.

Instead of "materia", I have "Objecta".
Instead of having a bajillion summon objecta, there are only eight. and only one character can hold them.
My game will have a big giant monster that destroys stuff and several other mechanical monsters that couse some lower-scale amounts of damage (think sin and the WEAPONS). Instead of calling the big one "sin", I call it "Iniquity" (which sounds cooler), and instead of WEAPONs, I call the them WARTOOLs.

update:

I've dropped the name WARTOOLS. I need a better sounding name. maybe I'll just call them WEAPONS.

By the way, I was looking for the experience table twetty put up long ago. but it's gone. what the hell happened?
