Which Myst, though? If it's a remake of the first one then that's a definite 'Been there, done that 30 million times." If it's something new then I 'd love to see the old series comeback with a proper sequel.

I think it's a direct port of realMyst. So yeah, pretty pointless. There's enough ways to play it for people who haven't. You can play it free on GameTap.

I played Riven on PS2. With a strategy guide in front of me the whole time. I don't know how anybody could figure out half that stuff without one.

I never did get to play Riven.

Myst III Exile was a crazy logic puzzle of a good/bad time. I never felt so challanged or insulted by a videogame in my entire life--even with the lame-o strategy guide included. Guess I'm not very good at Myst games.

Haven't played it in forever though, can't say I would be nostalgic if I played it again.

Boy did I ever stink with Myst... I didn't get anywhere with that game. Didn't have so much trouble with puzzles since I've played Shivers. I don't want to have a guide just so I can solve every puzzle.

the only puzzles i couldnt get where the sound ones. i am totally tone deaf and after listening to the sequence hundreds of times they just all blend together. i played the second ones but didnt finish it, i think it was riven wasnt it? the 3rd i never got a chance to play. over all i enjoyed what i did play.

I've never played Myst or any of its sequels/offshoots. Never played 7th Guest or any of its sequels/offshoots, either.
