Ok, I have an external hard drive with Guild Wars installed on it due to size. If I installed it to my HDD with my laptop and want to play it with my Desktop, how can have it so that it accesses my HDD instead of overwriting it or downloading all of the necessary files to my dekstop?

With Guild Wars.
Drag the folder onto your desktop from the External.
That's it.
Now you have a copy of both. One on the external and one on the internal. -

If it's a USB port it might be that it's outdated (not a USB 2.0). Only real reason it should take so long.Comment
