ive never heard of this till now, doesnt seem like something id even want to contemplate trying. torture is wrong, who cares what degree of wrong it is. if any goverment agency is using this to extract information then it must stop as its a clear break of the geneva convention. im acually very disappointed at the us would break the geneva as it did in guantonomo. its a sad state of affairs when a nation that prides itself on freedoms and democratic process decide to deny all of this and worse to others. terrorists is just another dirty word for the under handing goverment practice excuses.

what we have seen in the movies is absolutely nothing compared with the depravity humanity has devised to torture each other.

There is a possibility of permanent damage and also you need to weigh in the fact that it obviously has very traumatizing psychological damage involved in this too.

Torture is inhumane but there's nothing new about man's inhumanity to man. The least they could do is quit trying to pretend America is somehow "above it."
