Ive played for about a month off and on, cant seem to get a grasp of it, but I think Im learning the wrong way
(leads before chords)

A few years. Think I'm finally getting the hang of it but my technique still needs work. Finally got a nice new one, so I think I'm going to strip down and repaint my ****ty strat knockoff once it gets warmer out, I'll show that off once it's finished.Comment

Yeah, I've been playing since October with my Epiphone Les Paul. I already can tell I'm in love with the guitar. Just holding it feels right. Strumming feels right... Playing a riff... It's a good thing, music. I can't play any full songs... But I can play most of One, most of Stairway, and most of American Girl. Plus like 20 licks here and there.
Now I'm trying to figure out exactly which kind of D'Addario strings to get. I have the Prosteel Nickel Wounds (.01-.046) and dunno what other types to try.Last edited by Sivart the Sloth Trencher; 02-10-2008, 06:10 PM.
