    writers' strike is over

    boop boop hoop yea

It's over," Eisner said. "They made the deal, they shook hands on the deal. It's going on Saturday to the writers in general."

Eisner, speaking live on CNBC's "Fast Money," seemed to hesitate initially about whether it was possible that the writers could still reject the agreement, but finally suggested the deal's acceptance was inevitable.

"A deal has been made, and they'll be back to work very soon," Eisner said, adding, "I know a deal's been made. I know it's over."

I support VERY few of those writers. The rest of them can go walk off a cliff. Theres so much ****ty writing on TV shows, and most of them are to blame. I saw a TV interwiew and the group that wrote Star Trek:TNG was out there going "IF IT WASNT FOR PEOPLE LIKE US YOU WOULDNT HAVE GOOD TV SHOWS TO WATCH!". Okay I agree but you guys stopped writing that show like 10 years ago, and that group standing next to you guys that wrote stupid shows like House, or the TONS of ****ty cartoons on TV need to get kicked in the balls.

Regardless of the quality of the writing they all deserve to be fairly compensated for their work.

But if their writing is bad shouldn't they're compesation be bad too?
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

Well, isn't it all Subjective? I know there are a ton of shows I like that most people would consider Bad (Family Guy, Xavier) and plenty of shows that I consider bad but most consider good (Futurama, CSI)

                          Re: writers' strike is over

It's all about fair pay for a fair days work. I support the writers, only because if the studios are making more money from their work, they deserve to be compensated in kind. Example, if you were a farmer who sold oranges to a local supermarket, and then that supermarket opened two more stores, and needed more of your oranges, you'd expect to get paid more in kind.

And yeah, this is pretty awesome. A lot of my favorite shows (Heroes, WHY?!) were ended prematurely, and some new ones (Pushing Daisies, WHY?) might now not ever stand a chance to be renewed.

I am coming for all of you!

Pushing Daisies was a few steps too precious for its own good.

But anyways, maybe LOST will have more than eight new episodes now.
