I'm not buying photoshop, it's way too expensive. But I'd like to use something other than MSPaint.

Or if youre good with pixels and colors, just use Paint, though, that IS the hard way of doing things, I use it.
I also have GIMP, but I use it because Paint doesnt have a transparency color

Jasc Paint Shop Pro if you are willing to put down, like, $40
GIMP if you like freebies.

Not all Photoshop users are thieves. >.< My sister works with a yearbook company and has the application on her laptop, which I use. ^^

I use oil.
And nowadays I'm dabbling in encaustic. It's really interesting stuff, that wax....and that's why.Comment
