    Stargate

Love/Hate it? I personally think it's a great movie/series and have the movie on my PSP... But that's just me. What are your opinions on it?

liked the movie. didn't get into the original series. Atlantis I watched a few episodes, but not enough to get hooked.

How's the movie awful? It's great, in my opinion.

Once Richard Dean Anderson left the show it all went downhill.

Otherwise, yeah i've seen almost all the episodes up to when he left. After that I lost intrest. I absolutly loved it.

Atlantis is super-meh in my opinion.

I agree, I stopped watching once he left. Actually, since I watched a lot of the series as a child and would always picture Ricahrd Dean Anderson as O'Neill, watching the movie was weird. Kurt Russell was too blond... and humorless...

I love the movie, but that's because I saw it when it first came out and I absolutely loved it when I was a teenager in the nineties, ohmigad. I also had like the hugest crush on Ra. Shut up, I was young and foolish!

I never got into the TV series. Didn't like it nearly as much.

I liked both the movie and the series. The movie's a bit generic sci-fi. I think they could have done a much better job, but still it has it's own charm. Just the idea of finding a stargate is enough for me. I think both pre/post RDA has it's pluses and minuses, but yeah unfortunatly Atlantis is pretty meh.

                    I like it all.

The movie was't bad, a bit forgettable, and both series are pretty enjoyable. Nothing groundbreaking, but it's still about the only thing I even bother to watch on TV any more.

I liked the movie, love SG-1 (even post-RDA), and I really like SGA, but don't love it.

i thought the movie was a little sucky

a friend of mine had, or has i spose, the entire series on dvd, so i started borrowing them from him when i had nothing better to do with my time

i was really burned out by the end, but at least i didn't have to watch it for ten years straight

I liked the movie and SG-1 a lot. It wasn't as good after RDA but I still have a crush on Ben Browder from Farscape so I went with it. Atlantis just doesn't have any spark for me. Doesn't have any characters I really like. The cartoon SG:Infinity was utter crap but at least had a couple watchable episodes. Played a demo of the TCG on PC . SG:Worlds will probably be as generic as every other licensed MMO.

It isn't the fact you've been watching it for ten years that hurts the most, its the parts where you waited as long as six months for the next episode (between seasons, and in the case of S10, between halves of the season).

I watched a few episodes of SG-1 now and then. There were a couple good episodes here and there. The first one I ever saw, which I watched twice, seemed to involve a large gou'uld (pardon me, I don't know how anything is spelled or named anymore) ship being overrun by metal spiders called Replicators. Oh, and Teal'c wasn't right in the head.
