    MAX Drive problems...

Alright, I'm beginning to experience technical difficulties with my MAX Drive. I use the ARMAX cheat disc and can't seem the get a MAX file on my MAX Drive. Whenever I go to copy and it finishes, the end result is a folder with the SLUS # and some assorted files for contents. Any ideas how I can make this usable for other people? I originally tried taking the contents of the folder and converting it into a .max file, but that didn't really work...

What are the names, extensions, and sizes of the assorted files?(a screenshot will work)

Sorry about the crazy resolution, but it's all I can get it at right now.

You said you get all these files when you upload the game to the flash drive using Action Replay?

Yup. That's what's put onto my drive after selecting Copy.

Did you straight copy or crush it first?

Crushing combines all of those files into a .max file, then when you uncrush it it decompresses all of those files back to the memory card.

Perhaps play around with the settings?

Yeah, I know that's how it gets to be a .max file which is my problem. I can't crush it over to my flash drive. I'll give tthe settings a try after I beat this monster in FFX.

Crush it to another memory card, then copy the crushed file to the flash drive?

I think I tried that and even THAT didn't work. Since I'm a little foggy on the details with that one, I'll give it another shot. *Kills Dark Yojimbo* Finally!

Ive never played 10, beat 7, got to the 3rd disk in 8 and kinda lost interest because of 8...it was just so...boring

10's good, and 7's great. I loved 8, but the fact that you lost access to most areas after the Time Compression was annoying. 9's good too so you should play that.

...My 10's a special version. It's an international version with extra super-hard bosses... Very fun. ^^

EDIT: It keeps going on about an unknown error mid-copy. >.<

Have you tried to read Valk's Article on the Max Drive? I wish I knew what it was doing to your files, but hopefully you have a back-up of them.

Yeah, I made this topic since Valk had no idea what it was doing. Was hoping someone else had the same issue and had resolved it with the EVO software. =/

You get that error when copying it to the flash drive?

Whats the method youre using to get that error?
