I'll be getting a headset to play around with this soon.

Yup. original version doesnt have the RAM neccesary to run it.

ugh, apparently the only thing my psp is good for is PLAYING GAMES.

oh, and surfing the net at 56k speeds.

Sony makes a headset. It's a darn neat one.

Well, I don't know about the slim, but there's no mic jack on the PSP. This headset has a special plug with an extra input that plugs into the remote.
