Preview - Part 2 of RPG Tsukuru 4 feature

It's very, very small. I just wanted to give everyone a little taste of what's to come. Check it out now in the article section.

Unfortunately, the next update to this feature is a few days away, which is why I decided to put the preview up.

Layer Editor is a great idea. I cringe to think of some of the dungeons that make liberal use of it... but the sense of height it could create is just awesome.

Bummer to see the memory and monster capacity constraints still in place. Sometimes I really question why they'd ever make constraints like monster slots.

Waiting with bated breath to see the battle system! EDIT: Looks like I must have missed a lot of frames the first time. At any rate, my bated breath has been satiated.

I feel as though this is all leading up to something profound. Do you have a secret? Why are you telling us this?

I find it all interesting and cool, but why are we being educated on a rpg maker that we will never have? I'm not complaining. It seems as though maybe theres something to all this. Like maybe some sort of release? I'm probably way off base here. I have high hopes.

Unfortunately, I am not. While I would absolutely love it if that were the case, it just isnt happening.

I'm doing this feature because as an RPG Maker title we never got in the US, it's always been a bit of a mystery to US gamers. Back when this came out, and all the info we had on it came from a handful of screenshots on enterbrain's site, people wouldnt shut up about it, which led to agetec actually having to announce that there was no way we were going to get it in the US.

Anyone who knew this title existed has always wanted to know more about it, and since I finally have the ability to take screenshots of games, I saw no reason NOT to do this feature, especially since I own pretty much every one of Enterbrain's console RPG Makers. This isnt the only import RPG Maker I'll be covering, I'm going to do them all (except handheld versions, can't take screenshots of those) That's really all there is to it.

I may stray outside of Enterbrain's realm to profile things like the Dreamcast's Dream Studio software as well. It was an action RPG creation title that never saw a US release.

I know this may sound impossible; but any chance you can cover the Cell Phone RPG Makers?

The cellphone RPG Maker was pulled from Enterbrain's site, and they no longer even mention it on their website. It doesnt exist to them anymore. I have no idea why. It was actually pretty popular.

There really wasnt much to cover. It was a port of RPG Maker 2000.

Ahh man, that really does look awesome.

It seems to cure all the lameness of the RPGM1.

                            Thanks for the preview, Valk.

I'd kill a man for a Klondike Bar. And also this game.

Never before have I been so excited to read about a game I'll probably never get to see firsthand. :P

Are you by chance going to record the game's music tracks? I'd love to hear if the music also outdoes any of our console RPGMs.
