    Anyone want to help me...

Does anyone want to help me write out a narrative introduction for my test game? I'm not very good at writing things like this and making them sound well...

Pretty cliche'd, but basically, it's about a boy named Ark. He's the the heir to the throne in the kingdom of Atticus, ruled by a long line of powerful and wise Kings. When he was born , he had a mark, almost like a tattoo, on the back of his neck. It was prophecised that at the age of 13, he will have to kill the corrupt gods. They are Anubis, Osiris, Horus, and Ra. Ever since the age of 5, he's been training for the day that he sets out on his journey. Traveling along with him is a powerful knight called Odin (I like using FF summoning references in my games...) and his childhood friend, Hadeia.

I also wanted to know if it sounded even slightly reasonable. Since this is a test game to familiarize myself with RPGM3, I decided to use Egyptian gods instead of ones I created.

I think anything is reasonable if it's to learn the system. I can help you with this tomorrow. I'm wroking on my contest map right now.

Heh, so am I. Only my copy of RPGM3 is so messed up that it sometimes randomly crashes... It did it after about an hour of map-making...

The pre-set map data on my disc is corrupt. I don't know how it happened but a few months ago all the preset maps got all wonky. Weird.

I guess even the minisculest of scratches can greatly affect the game. Only mine aren't tiny, they're in the medium range... =(

My disc is in almost perfect condition. I think it's a manufacturing defect or something. I really don't know.
It did work perfectly at one time. All my game data is fine.

Well that's good to hear. At least your disc doesn't do what mine does with the music. All the time, the music will cut out. Sometimes just stopping completely, other times making a whirring sound somewhat similar to a motorboat running. It's even frozen at a screechingly high note and wouldn't stop until I sampled a track. =/

If your disc is that screwed up you should think about replacing it with a new copy.

I need to change this icky plot around... I just don't know how. I've been constantly inspired by Stargate SG-1 recently... But I don't want that to heavily dictate what I create. Oh the dilemma.
