Meet The Spartans.

I got back from watching it.

I went to Borders for some Manga and headed back to my apartment. A few of my friends seemed to be awaiting my arrival. They asked me if I wanted to see Meet The Spartans. It was free so I said "What the hell? Let's go."

I saw it.

I sat through it.

People laughed.

I didn't.

Okay look, I LOVE random slapstick comedy. But this movie advertised 10 different products in an unfunny way. It was unfunny but the place was packed with people.

I saw it. It was funny. It wasn't worth the $15.50 I paid for me (and my brother) to see it.

we cant all have movie buffs like mora for friends, so we are stuck with people who just arnt qualified to tell what a good movie is, no mater how obvous bad its made out to be. im fortunate that my best friend is tasteful in his movie picking so i rarely need to worry about going to see a trashy flick. only problem is i hardly ever see him and even rarer, see movies with him.

dont forget you can always rent it. renting is cheaper then paying the ridicules admission prices and you wont feel like a loser for going alone/being seen going in or coming out of a crappy movie.

To its credit, Vantage Point does have an exciting trailer.

There's also a whole community of film critics to turn to. They don't like this movie either.

It's Meet the ****ing Spartans anyway! It's not like you have to pick up a newspaper to see if it's trash.
