It won't read my Xenogears save file. Okay.

So I create a new internal memory card, move the save over there and it's fine. I load my file, then try to save on my original memory card. Still won't let me.

So I delete that file, and try again. It won't let me. I try to save over my file on my old memory card, fail. It won't let me save anywhere. I eventually corrupted my Xenogears save file that I spent 70+ hours on, collecting everything possible and even beating Grahf and getting the Long Dark Coat. WTF man.

I'm really not that upset that I lost my file, I'm just peeved that my PS3 refuses to load and save files for Xenogears. Must have something to do with the game's weird loading and saving infastructure.

you didnt store a back up file on your computer with the max software (if you own it)?

Max drive doesn't work with PS1 saves. Unless he has a Dex Drive in which case there's no excuse.

I converted a xenogears save for Mora to the PS3 format. I wonder if he had the same problem.

Man, I forgot how handy Xenogears' file management system was. That was back in the day when there were only two memory cards between the three of us.

Why didn't every game have that?
