    The Orphanage

I saw this last night. Sort of a horror movie in the traditional sense, not so much of a gore-fest. It had a couple gotcha! scenes but mostly it strings you along with suspense.

Did nobody else see it? Seems like it's getting lost in the shuffle a la Pan's Labyrinth.
So you're a fish out of water...
    Keep swimming.
    What else can you do?

Well, now I kinda wanna see it. I was hesitant but after seeing the Rotten Tomatoes score, it might actually NOT be ****ty. But this or There Will Be Blood... D:

How did Pan's Labyrinth get lost in the shuffle? It was raised above like Spidey on the subway.

I'll see this on DVD. Everything about it reminds me of The Devil's Backbone and I doubt it can be better than that.

I am going to see it on Thursday. There is only one movie theater in my area showing it.

Re: Pan's Labyrinth. When it first came out I couldn't find it in theatres anywhere. It wasn't til I started hearing Oscar buzz about best foreign film and special effects (or whatever the category's called) that it started cropping up places where I could actually see it.

I really want to see this. Mostly because Pan's Labyrinth made me fall in love with anything even remotely Del Toro.

I am going to see this. I loved the Devils Backbone and Pan's... maze...

I like Spanish films because they do not have gratuitously happy endings. Its more like drawing a conclusion

I own Pan's Labyrinth...have yet to watch it, although I see trailers for it all day at work.
