    There Will Be Blood.

If you like staring at things you'll love this movie. I, on the other hand, would've probably found better ways to spend two and a half hours.

The moral of the story? Turns out an artsy mess starring Daniel Day Lewis is still just an artsy mess at the end of the day.

    I disagree.

I loved it. I think. The movie is a slow burn, but it's NUTS. Like a long-lost Kubrick film.

You're right, the last five minutes of the film were comedy gold.

      *** SPOILERS ***
They should've had him slide down the lane and hit all the pins!
      *** END SPOILERS ***

Also about the movie, the soundtrack was annoying and invasive.

        I just can't agree!!

I thought Johnny Greenwood's music was tense and strange! The whole movie was. So strange I had no idea how to react. It look a lot of thinking and discussion afterwards to come up with a sorta-solid opinion on it, for me.

Is this this year's The Fountain? :P

          Yes.

I hate long movies and period pieces, but I loved this one.

          I think that says something????

Just because I disagreed with Film Walrus doesn't mean you gotta hold a grudge!

Not quite, I did enjoy this movie somewhat. But damn, was I checking my watch over and over during the final hour.

It's not holding a grudge. Ebert only gave your face one thumb up.

What's all this have to do with the movie, again?

EDIT: Or are you just upset this isn't going on the comments section of the grump factory?

Wait... this is an actual name for a movie? Well, I give the name a low score.

In all the commercials they keep saying reviews that are all "AMERICAN MASTERPIECE", "THIS FILM IS A MASTERPIECE!", "A MASTERPIECE THAT WILL SATY WITH YOU FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!", which leads me to think its NOT a masterpiece, and just an overrated pile of crap.

I wish you didn't bring this upon the Pavilion, DK.

X3 is still spinning in their Blu-ray players.
