Yeah, it does not have the games that the 360 has, and the online interface is not as intuitive, user-friendly, and streamlined as Xbox 360's Marketplace, and the friends' list is quite lacking (I think the last two will see exponential improvements when Home is released), but I've still spent more time in the past 5 days on my PS3 than I have in the last two weeks on my 360. Granted, it's still new, and my interest will probably wane soon, but for now, I'm digging it.
Funny thing is, I've spent about 4-7 hours a night for the past 5 days on it, and I think I've only spent 1-2 hours of that playing actual "games." My 60 gig came bundled with Motorstorm, which I have no interest in. I bought Eye of Judgment, but have yet to "play" it (I need to make some room in my filthy hovel first). However, I did download one of the "interactive art" things they've got (Mesmerize) and might get the Japanese calligraphy/watercolor one soon (both of these are based around the Playstation Eye camera). There was a free download for video editing software, with all kinds of effects and whatnot that I've been playing around with a bit.
The only games I've played as of yet are Everyday Shooter and flOw (which, I guess is sort of like a game). The themes are free, unlike the 360 (although there are not as many to choose from). And I've not even touched the Blu-Ray capabilities yet. Most of my time is actually spent on the web browser (I do not have my own computer, and I like sitting on my couch to browse rather than having to go upstairs and hunch over the keyboard, staring at the monitor).
I'm at the point in time in my life where the ancillary stuff in game consoles (the Marketplace/PSN Store, and the associated downloads, the music and video capabilities, etc) interest me more than the actual games sometimes. I just found out it's possible to listen to the music on my hard drivve while browsing the internet. And it's possible to transfer music from USB/SD cards to the hard drive, unlike the 360, which requires you to rip the music from a CD. This is a benefit for me, as the CDs I have left, for the most part, I do not even listen to. The majority of my "good" music is on my external hard drive, so this works out perfectly for me. And then when Home comes out....I don't even want to think about the possibilities there.
So, yeah...another long-winded rant to basically state that as of now, I'm very happy with my 60 gig PS3 purchase.

They're usually cheap anyway.
