I still lack a copy of this for the DC. Am I missing out?

      In my personal opinion, yes.

Is it worth $35+, which is what it seems to be going for on ebay (used)?

If that's the case, I was lucky I found it for the price I did.

You may as well wait for the DS version unless you can afford it/find one cheaper.

Well, it look a little cramped, but the visuals hold up and the controls seem less floaty, and that could be very nice.

But it seems patently less ridiculous than the original. I don't know how I feel about that.

Level editor AND 2-player? What more could I want?

I first heard about this game about 5 years ago on like... page 10 of 8-bit theater and bought it immediately. I'm thrilled the DS version is coming stateside because the DC version had a stupidly limited release.

i played the dreamcast version out of its cool looks some years ago (i love the little sprites and design in general) and enjoyed it, but i might not say you're missing anything necessarily. its more like eye-candy to see all the explosions at once and i think i remember something when it came out, in how when originally released for the N64, the amount of sprites on-screen was a pretty big deal because the console was looked at for mainly its 3D capabilities. its pretty much like kefka described. if you're a fan of Treasure in general, i think youll like it lots. if you do get it, i say get the DC version and play it on a television.
