...I'm just about to go out the front door at my work, as I was done for the night.
And this customer runs in " Oh my god, she's on the sidewalk! She's hurt!"
Being the nearest employee I hurried out the door and sure enough, there's this middle aged woman, laying on her stomach, feet still on the curb, but the rest of her shins up in the parking space. I leaned down and checked her and asked her to respond. Nothing.
So I ran back in and told them to call 911 and went back out again. Second time I noticied she was breathing. Plus as luck would have it, this girl who actually is an EMT, starting helping as well.
By this time the woman started to respond again and the cops came and she got loaded into an ambulance. But yeah it was kinda freaky. I was wondering for a minute there if I had just been witness to someone who had just died.
