I was watching the first half of CES '08 live the othr day, and I noticed on the bottom for a minute that they're (by "they're", I mean I don't know who exactly) making a game colled "Guitar Wizard". essentially, it's like GH only you use a real guitar with a bunch of metal stuff attached (I think they're called headings or something). There will be 2 versions: one with the guitar ($300), and one without ($150). I am serius.

Re: Guitar......... Wizard?
Instead of giving us a bunch of small tidbits here and there, it'd be helpful to find some write-ups on it.
Though it doesn't look like its for a console, and at a whopping $300(or even $150) I dont think Ill be getting it
I cant stand engadgets biased opinions

Re: Guitar......... Wizard?
I guess the visual onscreen feedback (and possibly the gamey elements) are what would make this "better" than a real guitar. Will the guitar make noise, or will the noise come from your TV?
I dunno, I'd personally rather get and play a real guitar than this. Or so I think...Last edited by Wavelength; 01-11-2008, 05:53 AM.

Re: Guitar......... Wizard?
It IS a real guitar. That's the point. The color coding seems to just be the actual notes. So not only is this a real guitar, but it teaches you how to play all real guitars.
This article here explains it better: http://www.engadget.com/2008/01/03/g...a-real-guitar/Last edited by pinkymadigan; 01-11-2008, 12:05 PM.Took me 15 minutes to remember how to change my signature, and this is all I came up with.
