So...I'm looking for a laptop I can do 3ds max work on. If anyone can help me out on finding a good deal that can do just enuff, I'd greatly appreciate it. I also have excellent credit if that factors into any of the deals. Thank guys.

Um...I really should be more technical in my occupation, but I'm not. Bottom line is that I should be relatively ok w/ whatever was top of the line like 4-5 years ago...just something that can replay bipedal skelelons or simple meshes 60 frames a second in real time...Comment

Get one that you can change the video card in, because in 4 years you'll want to play a new game and realise you cant...
I use to have a list of laptops that you could change the video card, no idea if they even make them any more though.

I know that, I was just complaining about my current situation. I use mine for EVERYTHING...
I used to do plenty of 3ds Max work on it when I was taking classes.
