Re: Best Buy: A Video Game Is Not a "Toy"
in this case its the retails fault for having a poorly labeled coupon. im tired of the fine print suckering people like myself into a bad deal. i shouldnt have to bring my lawyer down just to make sure im getting a fair transaction. i can understand fine print for contest rules or places where it is absolutely necessary, but not for something like this where even a search on the company website proves the lie. best buy should be ashamed for even having such a misleading and crooked promotion.Last edited by Karr Lord of Chaos; 01-06-2008, 12:59 PM.

Re: Best Buy: A Video Game Is Not a "Toy"
best buy DOES carry toys. mostly promotional stuff for dvds and games. These items are usually limited in number, so they aren't on the website. some examples of this were the Transformers Movie Premium figures Ratchet and Megatron, only available at Best Buy.

Usually the toys I see are placed towards the front of the store, but the ones I've seen were electronic toys. Very few. I think one was a cheap electronic dog, and another was a black and white robot that kinda danced from side to side. I think it had some voice command as well, but i can't remember its name.

Re: Best Buy: A Video Game Is Not a "Toy"
the website clearly has a section marked for toys. its a subsection of the games and toys page. whoever wanted to use this coupon knew this was true, and was deliberately obtuse to be a smartass and make themselves look cool.Originally posted by Karr Lord of Chaos View Postin this case its the retails fault for having a poorly labeled coupon. im tired of the fine print suckering people like myself into a bad deal. i shouldnt have to bring my lawyer down just to make sure im getting a fair transaction. i can understand fine print for contest rules or places where it is absolutely necessary, but not for something like this where even a search on the company website proves the lie. best buy should be ashamed for even having such a misleading and crooked promotion.
the more **** like this that customers try to pull, where i work, the less and less sympathetic workers are to them. you all complain about video game stores telling you something is not in stock, or not checking, or being bad employees, but what you fail to realize is that 99 percent of the time these people are treated like **** by you customers and the reason why they dont give a **** anymore is because its seriously not worth it.
its not even hard to be like oh wow i didnt realize that you guys sold toys, or to deal with this situation in a civil matter.420yolo!!!!!!111

Dude it is their job to deal with customers.
Your argument is ignorant and (dare I say it) WRONG!
Do not justify a rude attitude with "you had it coming".
Get a new job if you do not like the specifications.
