Hello, pavilionites.
Trust me, I won't be making this a habit, so now I shall give you my second and last edition of "What Grinds My Gears." Right now, folks...it's Josh Groban.

Honestly, the dude who sings baritone may be able to sing better than Norah Jones (this is a compliment, I swear), but how in the blue hell do you continually increase sales of a Christmas album for five consecutive weeks on the Billboard charts? The guy has pushed more units than what took most albums released this year either several months to achieve or not at all!
Here are the sales of his Christmas album for the last three weeks:
This week: 700K+
Last Week: 661K
Two weeks ago: 581k
His album has already struck double platinum status, and it has been become Billboard's top selling album this year, despite being released in October! All this CD has is the same freaking Christmas songs that you hear on the radio every year, except it's sung by a baritone; nothing is original...yet it can still sell loads and loads of copies. (BTW, his surprise appearance on Oprah helped spike his sales as well). Maybe when I ever get a chance to release a professional CD in the mainstream music industry, I'll whore myself on the Oprah in the hopes that my disc (hopefully as mediocre as Groban's) can garner in the high six figures for weeks on end and achieve an unprecedented multi-platinum certification from the douchebags at the RIAA. That, pavilionites, is what grinds my gears. Thank you.
