Well last night I made my buddy (The same one that was working on the original Holy-Chaos with Me.) test play the last story event I made in Prophecies to see what he thought. He liked it enough it rekindled his interest in making a game. So we started working.
We decided to make it a comedy filled with all of our inside jokes and movie quotes. We figured it would be easier to make then a serious game based on past experiences. We decided we would put the first things that popped into our minds into the game. Just a warring it’s full of bad language. We came up with a basic idea. The two main characters Zeek and L-Dubz get contracts from the king in order to get paid, pretty simple concept yes I know, but it is full of stupid little twists.
The two main characters wake up and decide to go get a contract. They get there and the king is giving it away to a knight. They freak out and ask the king to give it to them. The king is skeptical because of what happened on the last contract. Somehow they convince the king. The king asks for a shrubbery. Yes like from Monty Python. L-Dubz replies “Dude what the **** is a shrubbery?” Zeek says “I don’t know wasn’t it in a movie?”
L-Dubz says “Shut the **** up you’re a retard.” As you can see its complete nonsense.
In order to get the Shrubbery they have to beat up an old grandma. By the way the main characters are both little kids that wield massive axes and hammers. That’s all the further we got. We came up with more ideas though. Despite the stupid humor that most people other then our group of friends won’t be able to understand we’re thinking of adding a cool feature. Our friend Falco aka Nick is basically a beast. He’s the last person I would ever want to get into a fight with. Well he is obsessed with honey buns. We can pretty much get him to do anything for one so we’re going to make it possible to find Honey Bun’s in the game. When you get into an event based battle and have one you can have the option to summon him. He’ll just be a supper strong guy that joins for the fight.
That’s basically the main idea. Again it’s just a side project we’re working on when ever he’s over. I’ll still be working on Holy-Chaos full time. I just thought I’d post about it because It was some of the most fun I’ve had making a game with rpgm3. I was wondering what you think because I might post it here someday.
