    class stat help

    Howdy everyone. I'm new here, though I'm not new to the RPG Maker series (I've played and owned every american one) and I recently bought the third one a few days ago.

    Now I'm gonna just jump right to my question; I'd like some of you guys to help me out with character stat balancing and monster balancing.

    Basically heres the deal, I'll give you the general HP of my basic class, and then I'll say what stat they specialize in and what stat they are weaker in, and then I was hoping, from that, that you guys could perhaps give me some more balanced stat setups than what I have now, cause no matter what I've tried, I just can't get the stats to match up and get balanced.

    Oh, and then based on what the stats of the character classes are, maybe someone could help out with monster stats? Not every monster of course, just a basic monster so I can build off that.

    If anyone can do this, I'd truly appreciate it. : D

              Not yet. I haven't really used it to much because I had my basic states done before you posted it. I plan on using it for my mini project me and a few friends started though. It's deffinetly a good way to learn the basics behind the stats.

                    Hey man its me imp cast i just started two days ago so i know a idea from my experience in online games so ok here it goes: If its a wizard stats should be-
                    Str-10
                    Magic-20
                    def-10
                    magic defense-25
                    and warriors excel in def but average in every thing else
                    same whit archer
                    but thief should have full luck agility and the other thing

                    AND WELCOME TO THE PAV!

                    Love is not something that can be bought it starts small like a seed and as two loving souls cherish the bond they share with one another only then can it blossom into a rose which in itself is as beautiful as love.

                      With due respect to Imp, there's really no one great set of stats for any character. It depends on enemy strength, the way you set up the character's skills, and how fast your characters are going to be leveling up. I've personally found good old playtesting to be the best way to get the pace and balance of your battles "right." But I also have to recommend JPS' stat-balancing application (which he already posted), which a LOT of people have found helpful in getting the balance part right.

                              It can work, in most RPG's each character has their own special abilities, adds flavor to the game, but you only increase the stats by a few points, not 20-30 otherwise they overpower the enemies.

                              Im assuming youre talking about your wizard post
