Anyone else besides me watch it?

Well, the show is pretty good I guess. I don't like the human characters(never did) but Megatron is still badass. The autobots remind me of the characters on Gargoyles.

I loved it. The writing and pacing are excellent, the big battle at the end was exciting and fun to watch, which was a welcome change. normally battles, no matter how important they are, are over in a few minutes in transformers. I especially liked when Prime asked Sari how humans were created, and she whispered the answer to him. his reaction was great.

I'm definately a fan. its a shame the toys were delayed a few months so the movie line could be extended. I really don't want to wait.

oh, interesting tidbit: spike, carly, and daniel from G1 are visible in their stupid "future outfits" in one of the opening scenes in detroit.

the transformer show on toonami looks gay......
i mean optimus prime doesnt have a mouth! but they put a mouth on anyway. id say the original transformers and armada where the best damn transformer shows

Prime has ALWAYS had a mouth. it's just been behind a mouth plate.

well..... i don't really like the style of the film.... also i like that optimus prime never has died in the series. but the transformer series is my favorate cartoon/anime all i need is a dvd pack of the original and armada

prime dies a lot. he died in the original movie, he died half way through season 4 of the original series, he died in headmasters, he died in armada, he died in energon. seeing his short death in this premier was no shock to me.

I personally have never seen any of the transformer shows, I do want to see the movie though, and I'll probably start watching the others after that

G1- brought backby quintessons both times
headmasters- not brought back for a few years, and that was through a complicated and stupid thing.
armada- minicons brought him back
energon-his team mates brought him back somehow

I used to watch the original(???) Transformers cartoon when I was a kid. That and G.I. Joe. The animation in both were very different than what we have now. I don't remember a single episode of either though.

It's probably over now... I just... I dunno, can't get myself to remember to watch it. The art style looks so... wrong... for Transformers.

I agree, it looks to be made cheaply IMO
