    AVPR? A V P R?

I went to see the new Alien Vs Predator flick.

The movie isn't bad but it's also not outstanding.

Still, predator is badass. Oh, there are many deaths.

Actually, the movie gets really good in the climax scenes and such.

    So...

If you liked the first one, go ahead and watch this one. If you like alien births than watch this movie.

    FINAL SCORE!

    4/5 (climax totally saves it.)

ALSO! There was a preview of a 300 parody, It made me lol. It's called Meet The Spartans, it's hilarious.

The first AvP was an abomination.

I think a game is going to be released.

          I wholeheartedly agree.

          This one, however, was not.

          *** SPOILERS ***
There was one death I'm glad that happened...that "tease" girl who got the protagonist ass kicked twice. I'm glad the Predator impaled her.
          *** END SPOILERS ***

Yes, it's normal to be surprised.

And I do think the first one sucked as well.

There are a couple games out already. And a whole comic series. Which are all pretty good.

This, however, I would not pay to see. I'd love to check it out and riff but, for now, sorry. Sounds like no one involved knew what they were doing.

Way to kill two formerly fantastic franchises at once, Fox.

                Again.

                You ****ers.

For a second I thought this was the RPG Maker General section.

I haven't seen the first, and I'm going to see the normal Alien films before I do....

Well, at least it isn't as bad as Freddy vs. Jason, right? (Talking about the first movie)

                    That movie was bad...

                    Or Jason X. ...

                      You should. ASAP!

The first two are brilliant and though Alien 3 and Resurrection are kinda lousy IMO they're directed by David Fincher and Jean Pierre Juenet, respectively, so they're worth watching for their interesting quirks. Fincher: F-WORD!! Juenet: WATER!!

That's the great thing about these two series. A lot of great talent went into them with varying degrees of quality, but they were all pretty interesting.

Then you throw these two Versus flicks out there with virtually NO talent at the helm?

                      Unforgivable.

I concur with seeing the original two Alien films first, and then ending your viewing there.

Also, has anyone played the AvP RTS game for console, and tell me if it's any good? I thought about buying this a while back, but never did...apparently, it was pretty hard to find, and when I finally found a used copy, and the guy at Game Crazy let me play it first, but it didn't seem all that great, so I ended up not purchasing it. Did I make a mistake?

It sucks perv. My friend owns it. It sucks. God does it suck.
It is incredibly one sided depending on who you are playing with.
It gets horribly repetitive and dry very shortly.
                          It sucks.

The first movie was GOD AWFUL. It was an amazing experience going to see it though. The whole theatre broke into yelling bad puns and we all laughed out loud and enjoyed each other's company. It was kind of fun. One scene comes to mind when I yelled out, "That's giving her the cold shoulder!"

The SNES beat 'em up game was the best.

That the one that was a arcade port?

                              I loved that game.
