how much milage do you get out of your chair?

seams i am an internetaholic cause i can only get about 1 year out of a computer chair before it dies. i got this pleather one last year at ikea and its already warn through to the crap on the inside of the chair. the last chair i got the arms where those foam things and the plastic coating broke and pinched my arms when i rested them. the chair before that was a rickety wooden one i confiscated from the dining room.

how long do your chairs last/what chair do you use to enjoy your computer experience?

usualy when im looking four chares i try to look at the mileage printtout and compar them because i can figur out if i am realy saving mony or not (by calculasion) but then i usualy remember i dont drive in my chare lolz

I do not spend enough time on the computer for them not too.

My padded folding chair is still going strong, and it's like a couple of years old and cost me maybe $15 at Wal-Mart. I like it, and it stills feels fairly comfortable. The other folding chair that was used by others in my family hasn't faired as well, but I'm the lightest by quite a bit so yeah.

My father-in-law works at the department of agriculture and they throw good office chairs away all the time for some odd reason(tax dollars at work), so I dont really get a chance to wear out a chair before I get a better model

porkchop please post in this thread so i can +rep you honestly your comment almost made me cry laughing.

i didnt read the op, but now that i have, a wooden chair. ive used the same wooden chair for the past 4 years or something, and i abuse it a lot more than just sitting on it. dont be fooled by office chairs and **** because you just have to make sure you use good posture (wooden chairs can help that) and you are so good. i can log insane hours on the internet and go straight to work with absolutely no problem (i have to be on my feet all day at work so back problems would be a ***** and i would find out about them pretty fast).
