How good is your map?

Have a map that you have worked on day and night and nobody to show it to? Or a map where you have to improve some things on but you don't know what?

Show your map here and we'll rate it, or... something..

Rules (NOES! There are rules!):
1. You may say what you think of a map but don't do it like this:
'HAHAHA! THAT IS SOOOOOO BAD! LOSER!'
That's not very nice, isn't it?

2. When somebody posted a map, don't directly post a map to, when you do this the other poster probably don't get reactions on his map.. and that's not cool.

That sounds like a great idea, but does it apply for all the RPG Makers? Or just certain RPGM system? (Just like the XP map picture that you posted up on your introduction forum ^^).

If it applies for all Makers, then maybe i'll post mine up and... that's no way to treat a doggie~ ^^"

It is really hard for me to make good maps because I am usually not patient enough. but that is all going to change when i start my game.

I usually take 2 to 4 hours on a map, and still never get satisfied. But luckly I have found that making real small maps can give you greater control on how you design it.

You can cluster in more decorative objects, and reduce long walking times.

I lack the skill to make pretty indoor maps in RPGM1.

I deffinetly like the idea, but nobody has posted a map yet. I guess I'll post mine, but most people have seen them already. A thread about maps needs at least one though. Here's one tp start.

Just turned out that way. It's hard to explain, but I'll try.

In v mode I start out using the one that creates spherical landforms then smooth them out. After that a use the sloped tool to get spikes. I make them kinda small. then smooth again so it seems a bit rugged. Then I do it again but make them huge. Next I make littler ones around the big ones.

I doubt that helps much, but thats the basic's. It's actually very easy once you get the hang of it.
