Now, I like to customize as much as possible when making games, so its no wonder I'd be playing around with the Anime Maker, but I think I might have found something odd, and as RM3 is out I'm sure other people already found/questioned what I found, so I'm going to ask again:
Is there any way to use the sprites that are at the end of the list without saving them to a memory card and importing them first? I would really like the monster face comming out of the wall, as well as a couple of the characters, but I've only got one PS1 memory card so space is at a premium.
Anyway, thanks in advance for any help you could give me on this problem.

nope, unfortunately you have to save them to your memory card.

memory cards are ultra cheap. i have 4 cards i use and i still rarely have enough space. one card is not going to do it for you dude, youd best pick up at least a second card if not more.

PS1 cards are becomming harder and harder to come by. It'd be nice if PS2 cards were compaible (they're not) or if I could get PS1 cards at a store somewhere, but that is sadly, not to be... :cry

what the hell are you talking about? i found 500 memory card auctions for the ps1 on ebay. of course you wont find it in a store, its old technology and the space is better given to newer techs.

Yeah, well, that's my problem right there! I like going into a store where I can see and usually handle the product I am about to buy. I have terrible luck with things bought online...
Either way, I've decided to work around it! Go me!!!
