      5) Wii Play (incl Wii Remote) - 564,000
I'm sick of seeing this here. they should at least change the listing to represent the reason people are buying it: "Wii Remote (incl Wii Play)"

Yeah, for the extra 10 bucks why not get a mini-game collection to go along with your brand-new Wii Remote?

ps3 versions arnt doing so hot, how come? im not surprised about guitar hero, that seems to be a super popular game these days.

i agree with valk, that wii mote bs is ruining the list.

Thank you Ωbright for the sig fix!

I still only have 1 WiiMote... No mini-game collections either.

Ya I wonder what would happen if Big N put a new game out that includes a Wii Remote though.

PS3 versions of multiplatform titles are likely always going to be lower, since far more people own 360s and Wiis than PS3s.

Its nice to know it isnt all 360 or Wii Play on there. I'm surprised at Assassins Creed's sales, especially since that only accounts for 2 weeks out of the month basically (came out on 11/13).

I'm just glad alot of good games ended up getting high sales last month, instead of just really popular pieces of crap(Wii Play being the exception).

Remember that comic of jade, that could be half the reason why everyone bought assassins creed, that and the game was pretty good. Wii remote thing was first place last month i think, something around 1mil units.

@valk: That would make sense that people would own a 360 over a ps3, especially since the 360 has been out longer then the ps3.

Filthy Americans with their light-beer and their baseball and their X-Box 360's. Pfft. I spit in their general direction.

Well also the PS3 versions tend to have more Lag, and other slowness due to the developers lack of time/money/interest to invest in properly coding for it. I know it's been an issues on quite a few games where the 360 version performs better, so I'm sure that's also a factor, though if it were by hardware sales the Wii should have all the top games.

I didn't realize Call of Duty 4 was doing so well, and I too wish Wii Play would disappear off the list since everyone knows the real reason people get it (because they probably can't find regular wiimotes).

Ya the list does not necessarily surprise me. It is kind of odd that COD4 is number on though.
On a different note I think my girlfriend is getting me Assassins creed for christmas because she wants to watch me play it...

Also, Wii Play is in a lot of those annoying bundle packages. Again for the purpose of the remote.
