Final Fantasy IV-2

In an obvious move to butcher even more of our childhood memories, Square is developing a sequel to Final Fantasy IV. The game, titled in bad Engrish as "Final Fantasy IV: The After," will focus on a future descendant of Cecil's. It will be launched across mobile phones in February 2008 in Japan.

Ironically, this is the first time I've really felt like belly-achin' despite all the other spinoff crap everyone complains about.

I agree. For all its superficial risque girly flourishes, FFX-2 was a really solid RPG.

I liked the game play but I felt embarrassed for playing it in my own home. It was far too girly style to give me any sense of dignity for finishing it with 100% completion. I even turned the sound down so my mother wouldn't hear it and think that I turned gay.

Why would you even bother trying to get 100%? Some of the missions were ridiculously difficult. And the "perfect" ending had Tidus, thus negating its perfectness. The normal ending actually felt a lot more fitting. It was also the first time I liked Yuna.

I know that now. I felt violated for wasting my time just to get an ending with a guy I hated profusely. I don't know what I was hoping for, it reminded me of the time I played halfway through Rhapsody before realizing I would definably be gay if I finished it.

It still gives me nightmares to think about it. What a dark time in my gaming history...

You sure? I couldn't... you know... for two week.

I certainly didn't feel strait by playing it. I'm not sure, but I may have enjoyed playing it. At least it was an all female cast and not males, then I would for sure be standing in the sausage line.

It's a sing along game. Every 2 screens your characters brake out into a song and dance. Oh my god, I actually still have the soundtrack. Some of the music is pretty good, if you want I'll upload it in a zip file for you smurtle.

edit: The game does look good, thats why i got it to begin with (rented it I think), but the singalong stuff was just wrong. I felt like a pedophile at the very least for playing it.

His descendants? That's the oldest and/or dumbest trick in the book! There are at least eleven dozen fanfics in existence that have done the same thing!
