It's that time of year!

I have:

- sore throat
- congested nose and chest
- chills
- delirium

Probably just a cold. Could develop into pneumonia, but I think I'll be alright.

My throat's a little sore. I'm a little short of breath and my chest hurts a little.

I just had some buttered noodles. I used to eat those a lot when I was sick as a kid.

Maybe it's a psychosomatic thing.

Also, my breath is terrible for some reason.

Nope!!! Thank Goodness.

I refuse to get a flu shot even though they are free for me due to my asthma and Home Depot has a clinic as well. I am pertrified of needles.

I have only had the flu twice in Ontario- not bad for going into my 4th winter. The worse was when I went to go get my new glasses in February 2006. I thought I was going to ralph all over the optomotrist, and while I waited the hour Lenscrafters needed to make the glasses, Karr trudged through the mall with me as I hacked up a lung and almost to god passed out.

Still, I have never called in sick to a job I have ever had, or even highschool for that matter.

They're free regardless, as long as you have an OHIP card.

I posted a while back about how I got a horrible flu. So I hope I don't get sick anytime soon.

Funny thing is I got 4 rep comments for that, 3 of which said something along the lines of "Jesus Christ!"

I almost died from pneumonia once, so I try to avoid letting things progress that far.

I was sick in October with a mild infection, and then I got pink eye in both eyes at the same time (woke up one morning and POW). That was lame. I'm trying to take a multi-vitamin and get enough sleep, which seems to help some.

Glooms and I had our flu shots this year in prep for baby time. I'm really really hoping that Charlie doesn't get a cold somehow.

Newborns+colds=suck.

I had pneumonia once when I was 11. My mom took me to the doctor and they told me I just had a really bad flu. Two hours later she took me back and I had a fever so high I was rubbing my moms leg and telling her she felt like a porcupine.

I just had a cold a couple weeks ago. Luckily it didn't last long especially since it was smack dab in the middle of my finals.

I also had the joy of a mild case of food poisoning on Monday. While I was taking a Final.

Drink a few beers before bed.

Get plenty of sleep - no job or school.
