I've finally learned to love again.

    But our love is forbidden.

We have a new kitten in the house, but we can't keep her. Get ready for this, My stepmom's mom's step son killed her cat. My step mom bought her a new kitten before she found out to cheer her up, but as it turns out she doesn't want the new kitten. And the house we live in, the renting contract says we can't have a kitten. But the kitten, she has taken a huge liking to me. The kitten will do nothing but stratch stuff and attack our ***** dog I hate when I'm gone, but when I'm around the kitten will be with me exclusively and sleep on my lap give me sweet kitty kisses. :3

Last cat I had was Cuddles when I was seven. I loved that cat to death, but my older sister got a boy cat named "Coolio." (This was the 90's poeple.) And poeple with cat knowledge know that female cats imitate the male cats. Sadfully the Coolio would **** everywhere in the house, and Cuddles broke her pody training and would follow. Then my Mom took them both of them to the pound. My heart was broken and I have yet to love a cat since then. I never even took a liking to my old roommates cat.

I feel like a six year old kid, but I'm trying to find a way to convice my parents to keep this cat. Its not like our landlord even lives in this state. How should I go about convincing?

Or should I just man up and think animals are gay, and not even care if she may potentionally be put to sleep?

      I think animals are gay.

      Especially CGI lemurs and monkeys.

      And British children.

Don't send her to the pound. Do a no-kill shelter, if one is around. They sometimes require a donation, but I'd rather do that and at least know animals sent that way don't end up getting the needle. Did that with the siblings of my cat.

why on earth did the other cat die? was it an accident or was the guy a huge asshole and did it as revenge? if you give it to the shelter it will be adopted fast, most kittens go through fast. its only the ugly dogs or massive amounts of unclaimed pets where you have to worry.

i would love a cat but my gf doesnt want any.

Thank you Ωbright for the sig fix!

              Fix question.

HOW CAN I CONVICE PARENTS TO KEEP SUPER CUTE KITTY!? PERIOD! {:3

I've thought about moving back out on my own, maybe they can wait until then? But finding a place, an apartment no less that allows cats is very difficult.

Well, I don't know about your family, but it should not be overly tough to hide the cat for a while from your landlord. if it was a dog, no, because they always have to go out. But no one should notice the cat as long as it doesn't meow too loudly, or they see you getting rid of used litter (or bringing in fresh).

i agree that the landlord isnt a problem. im pretty sure in my lease it says we cant have pets but everyone has an animal and they make no effort to hide it. in my old apartment you use to hear them fighting upstairs on the balcony.

for your family you can hear what their argument is and aim an attack that way, perhaps stating you concern that the kitten may die, or that the landlord wouldnt really be a problem. if someone is allergic to the cat then your out of luck but otherwise, baring extreme hate for cute kittens, it shouldnt be overly difficult to convince them that a cute bundle of furry joy should stay.

edit: arnt most of those no pet clauses made to protect the landlord from extreme cases where the pet would disturb others, ruin the apartment, perhaps be bad for another tenant whos allergic?

it's not too hard to find a place that allows pets. it's just they're really expensive.

If your parents won't let you keep the kitten, guilt them into the idea that they will be responsible for _insert_cat_name_here_'s death, and you've grown a special bond and how he's the only being that understands you and start crying. Tell them you'll buy cat food and a cat box and take care of it and etc. And keep crying. And get it on video.

And put the video on YouTube. And while you're crying, be sure to tell them to leave Brittany alone.

You sound like you want to make love to that kitty.

                          Send it to the pound.

Have you nothing worthwhile, much less insightful, to say? Do you know what will happen when the kitten goes to the pound? Or are you one of those humans that don't care about life?
