    anyone played luminous arc?

    i picked up this snazzy little game for the ds and ive found it very good. its like a tactics style game but watered down. the best part of it is the dialog which is surprisingly funny and interesting.

    the story involves witches, the church, some crazy gems. its pretty good, anyone else here played it yet?

    the fun wont last long, after about an hour, the dialog starts to grate, the battles are always the same and dont change, and the whole church-god thing becomes more over the top than things like FFT and the like.

    Edit: if you want a better tactics game for the DS, go for Hoshigami. I know you guys hated it on the PSone, but it is a much better game than you all gave it credit for.

    Or try Jeanne D'arc for the PSP.

      I own that game, couldn't really get into it though because the graphics are soooo muddy brown, I can't tell half the time who I am controlling.

      Then again, I have a DS Phat so maybe it looks better on a Lite.

        im not so into big flashy graphics. i do agree that the dialog can get grating or even redundant. the battle system is alright, but its like ffta compared to fft - its different but not as good.

          Even without the flashy graphics it feels like I am playing Circle of the Moon. Brown brown brown. It wouldn't have killed them to make it TAN or somthing a little lighter. Squinting at a backlit screen is not a good sign.

            they are a bit dark. i cant play the game for more then one battle at a time without my eyes hurting, perhaps thats why.
