    Death Strikes Again.

My mother's friend has passed away in a hospital after getting into a car crash.

The last time they had a conversation was on monday. She crashed on tuesday and died on friday in the hospital. I was informed today of her death.

She leaves behind 3 teenagers. 11, 14, and 13. (Ages)

Their dad left them a few years ago so they have to live with their uncle.

I knew her a little bit.

The youngest of the 3 thought she was at work....when she was actually in the hospital.

And so..I give my respects to another life taken.

"The mourning rain that falls from the sky; soaking the grave where the body lies. Her future is gone but her past still remains."

    R.I.P. I'll meet ya in the after-life.

Mmhmm, this just reminds me why death blows.

    Re: Death Stirkes Again.

The title to the thread has a typo.

Telling a kid that her mother is at work when she is in the hospital dying is evil.

i believe that if it cant help anything (they cant see their mother at the hospital, shes already dead, important event like a wedding) that the person only be notified afterwards. by all means the person should know, but the timing is important.

its a sad case, especially when the lady leaves behind 3 children.

Thank you Ωbright for the sig fix!

I'm so sorry to hear that--believe me, I know how painful it is to lose someone close to you during the holidays.

I lost my grandfather 2 1/2 weeks ago and just last week, I lost my uncle. My condolences to their family--I hope they find some comfort during the holidays.

my friends girlfriends friend died in a car crash last week. he was racing, and then did 136 into a concrete barrier. my friend comes into my house, to pick me up for school, and he tells me this, as if i actually cared. but then he tells me that his girlfriend is in the car and i cant be mean or an asshole or anything about it or he'll beat me up. i think im in sort of another one of those situations.

this is slightly off topic, but the kid wasnt wearing his seat belt so his corpse got pretty messed up (decapitated and everything) and while this is being described to me my first thought was thats badass. then i thought it would suck to be that kids parents, id probably throw up if they brought me in to ID the body and it didnt have a head. or if i had to ID the head and it didnt have a body. at least the kids didnt have to go through that, itd be sort of hard to play that one off to the youngest one.

You think WAY too deeply into things.

A real friend wouldn't threaten you like that for such a trivial thing. He deserves a firm smack across the face.
