Simple question about character actions

I just wanted to know if it is possible to make the characters' arms and legs stop moving when it's not walking, and make the arns and legs resume moving when the character walks.

If so, how?

Ok. This is a tough one but heres somewhat how. All you need to do is create a script that is continuous and automatic, place it in the world and have it so when your pressing the moving button your character action will be walk and when it is not pressed it will be wait. If I can figure it out as actual script id be glad to post it for you, but I am currently grounded and must wait untill I can work again.
