I'm starting to play Capcom Vs. SNK 2 more.

I'm hopefully going to EVO next year. My current best team is Ryu, Ken, and Rugal.

Anyone else play this often?

You people are so easy to confuse.

DuelExpert, why the cammy? Just need an easier character to use? I'm not saying it's complete tier whoring (then again, Rugal is just not well known, he's cheaper than any of the staples currently being used) but Maki is a theoretically better character, just requiring more skill to use effecticely.

Maybe he uses Cammy cause... he wants to? I mean, not everyone plays fighting games for the sole purpose of aiming to win tournaments.

And there are a lot of high tier characters in that game anyway. Not like some of the other fighting games with only four or five people that are considered tournament worthy. I wouldn't necessarily call it "tier whoring" because he uses mid and upper mid characters.

My team is mainly Dan, Kim, and Yamazaki.

All the characters were good, but I hated the game's music and backgrounds. The first game was a lot better looking, and had better music.

Eh... I know that, I just happened to have been thinking about it with that mindset at the time, which I suppose is a bad idea in retrospect.

Well, a large percentage of the characters are "worthy"... if you're as skilled as say, buktooth. Tier whoring is still just as widely used as any other fighter, just that this particular one happens to have the largest cast. Watching EVO matches is sometimes just downright sickening watching people utterly whoring A-groove with Bison, sakura, and blanka. And if they aren't playing A-groove, you can still be 85% sure they're playing Sagat on every team. Even combofiend at 2k7 cut Rolento from his team in favor of Sagat, a move which actually won him the tournament.

I use Cammy because she's pretty fast with her special attacks.

THAT...and because she's easy to use.

I figured as much. You're right. That does sound dirty... Sakura is easier though, I don't blame you.

Still, I give props to people who defy conventional characters and do well with the underdogs of fighting games. Not like I demand it, I'm just suggesting is all.
