As a budding musician with a desire for creative and intriguing lyric topics, I've attempted writing conceptual material similar to that of the progressive rock bands of the 70s, namely my Canadian power trio idol, Rush.
Of course, I know I'm not perfect (or anywhere close for that matter) and I would like some input on some of my writings. Whether they're song lyrics, poems, or some other writings, I figure I should have a single topic in which to dump them. So first, I'd like to test the waters with what I feel is one of my best works. Comment as you see fit:

The equinox approaches
As winter turns to spring
We gather in the snowy fields
To see what gifts the sky will bring
The array of colors
In the magnetosphere
Ignite the starlit skies
Such a heavenly view from here

Goddess of the dawn
Solar winds are blowing from the north
O Northern Lights
A plasma field of glory
Solar winds are flowing back and forth
Charged ionic particles
Collide in eternal light
Flashes in the polar zones
Form astral showers in the night
The rainbow effect
In our atmosphere
Delighting starry eyes
Such a heavenly view from here
