    Dexter (the serial killer not the scientist) and spoilers too

    I just watched the entire first season in one sitting, and am now beginning the second season.

    *** SPOILERS ***
    I don't know what it is about this show that made me unable to do anything else but watch the show for about 10 hours straight. Damn is the show enthralling. The season finale was pretty exciting but I thought the twist is waaaaay too cheesy. But, damn, does the second season opener just rock hard. Two murders go wrong, his body dump is found, Doakes won't stop following him, Angel is going through a divorce, Deb is adjust back into the world, La Guerta is struggling with her loss of power, Rita's ex-husband is killed and she's suspicious of Dexter, and Camilla has a relationship on the rocks. It seems like the only positive character in the entire show is Vince. Man, everything can go wrong is. I don't think season one was incredibly strong, but it was definitely compelling, and it seems to have created the structure for an incredibly strong second season.

        I picked it up when Season 1 went to DVD. Just got Chad caught up. Last weeks episode was great.

            Yeah, the show is pretty much fantastic. It's not only well written and engaging, but original to boot.

            Almost every episode in the second season ends on an epic cliffhanger, it's ridiculous

              Yeah but the guy who plays Lundy can't act for ****. I just cringe when he try to talk dirty to Deb.

                Yes. Awesome show. Watched it last week in a few sittings.

                Felt so bad for Paul, even though he is a **** head.

                  I don't know, I thought the character worked just fine. I figured cringing was the proper response.

                      A Miami blood splatter specialist moonlights as a serial killer who kills criminals who escape justice by following rules set down by his cop foster father. The first season is about him tracking another serial killer and the second deals with his own kills being found and his attempts to stay one step ahead of his fellow cops, including his own sister, and the FBI.

                      Also he's dating Darla from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, who is perhaps the most pathetic woman alive. But she has cute kids.

                        I watched half of the first season when we still had Showtime and then had some stupid whore spoil it for me. I'll buy it, someday.

                          I would watch it at my parents place every coiuple of weeks in the begining of the second season, and they got me hooked. But since I have only regular cable Ive been downloading the new episodes.

                          I think its up to episode 9 now. Its going to be tough to get out of what hes done now.

                          That angry black cop guy was at his apartment with his sister and he found his trophy box of blood samples form all his victims while scrounging through his air vents because he always suspected Dexter was hiding something about the "Bay Butcher". his sister still doesnt know anything. Then he takes off to southamerica to meet an old friend to test some blood samples cause thye wont do it for him in the states, but not before attacking Dexter and getting suspended from the police force. FBI finds out he left the country and find ALL the blood samples in his trunk at the airport. Then at like 3am the FBI picks up Dexter and takes him to the police station, and they throw his trophy box of blood on the table and say "Can you you explain this?! Tell us what it i!", and in his mind he starts freaking out. Then they say they found it in the other guys trunk, and they suspect him of being the Bay Harbor Butcher, and Dexter goes with it saying he always knew something was strange about him, and how he was always angry with Dexter. It was awsome.

                          So the FBI puts a task force with him at all times to protect him incase the other cop comes to try and get him. He tells them hes going to sleep, and they just hang out out front of his place, and he sneaks out the bathroom window to go dispose of a body he left a few days ago in his killing cabin. Then while getting rid out the body the other cop shows up there and trys to arrest him. They get into a fight, Dext gets shot in the leg, and the other cop gets knocked out. The other cop wakes up in Dexters cage thing in the cabin going "YOUR GONNA HVE TO ****ING KILL ME! I KOW IT WAS YOU DEXTER!!!", and then Dexter closes the door to the cabin, and slumps down wondering how hes going to get rid of that body, fix his leg and act like he never got shot, and now hes got that ****ign cop locked up in his cabin, and he knows everything, AND he has to get back home before morning and get all cleaned up before the FBI guys protecting him find out. DEAR GOD I WANNA SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

                          I think might just stay out there and set it up to look like that other cop is the butcher like everybody thinks, and say he kidnapped him at night and took him to the cabin.

                            I'm on episode six and god damn the second season is leaps and bounds better than the first.

                              I don't know what Death Note is like, Mora, so I can't say. But at least it wasn't negative rep this time. Butt.
