Here's a suggestion for you GRIMS....if you get your name changed, stay away from the forums for a while (or, better yet, just lurk for a while) and browse the forums to see how other "respected" members post...in terms of grammar, tone, content, delivery, etc. Learn from that. Then start posting again in a month or so under your new name, without making reference to GRIMS, and see what happens.

Neither does a lot of other people here, just skim back over the posts before you click "Submit" to make sure everything sounds alright, it doesnt have to be perfect, but at least readable.

IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO BECOME A RESPECTED MEMBER OF THIS FORUM IT'S PERVERSION.

I was not necessarily including myself in that category. I actually was thinking of someone along the lines of Nixon or Mora (well....) or Magus when I typed that. I know I've not been around as long as everyone else to gain that level of "respectability."


Basically, I was trying to give the guy some sound advice without ripping into him.

As for IRC, I've actually been posting a bit less for the past few weeks or so. Retail+management position+Black Friday=not much internet time. Today is the first day I've spent more than an hour and a half here in almost two weeks, actually. Although, I have noticed that the amount I post in a day is directly proportional to the amount of rep I receive in that day and the next (awaits Postulate Man's neg....or is he standing in for IRC?).

Honestly the only advice I have is just keep a low profile. You don't need to post in every thread, you don't need to be the one to answer peoples questions. I only post when I feel it's necessary. People might not know you as much, but people won't hate you. You don't have to try to be known by all. I just come here and do what I came to do and look around a bit and if something catches my eye I'll post. Don't go out of your way to find something to post about.
