So, I was having chest pains, as well as other weird things, and I had the doc check it out and I was something like 147/95, which is very high blood pressure. I got off the caffeine for a few weeks, lowered salt intake, excercised daily...Basically did everything I had to in order to not be on meds.
The good news is I haven't been having any chest pains or weirdness since I've been off the caffeine, and I'm down to 127/83 now. My weight is at 184, which is the lowest it's been in years (was around 189 when I had the high reading), and I have a 32 inch waist. The bad news is...he wants me to stay off the caffiene. This sucks, because I love to at least have a diet coke w/ my meal...I mean, I'd at least like to be allowed that. Plus, it's hard to keep focus w/out it on these 13 hour days I'm working.
Blah. I just had to vent somewhere. Maybe I can have caffeine if I keep the excercise & water drinking up, and salt intake down.
