Has anyone seen or shown any interest in the Amazon Kindle or anything like this (the Sony product)?
It's basically a device to jump start a decent digital distribution method for e-books. Some of the features that the Kindle boasts are: e-Ink, a technology that makes the 6" screen read more like paper, free EVDO, a technology used in phones so that there are no need for WiFi hot spots or sideloading via PC, searching, highlighting, and more.
Honestly, I think it's interesting. I just don't read enough books, periodicals, or blogs to warrant the price tag. Does this interest anyone? Is this something that anyone would ever use? Do people still read?
