    English to Spanish translation request

If you know Spanish and are willing.

I would really appreciate some help with some phrases I'm trying to translate for a game I'm working on. I have about 15 or 20 two-to-three line phrases. They are all already typed up in both English and Spanish, but I just need someone to double-check them for me.

I would send you the English and Spanish version of each, and you would then tell me what needs to be modified in the Spanish part to give it the same meaning as the English. I would like to get these squared away in no more than ten days or so, by December 10th.

You will be mentioned in the credits of the Daniel's Quest III game for your help.

Feel free to respond in this thread or send me a PM. Thanks. I didn't want to just put this request in my game forum because I don't know many Spanish-speakers who go there often enough.

    Thank you.

I could use something like that too. Several minor NPC's in my game are Spanish.

What I really need is something like that for German.

Well I'm semi-knowledgeable in Spanish, I can't say I'm fluent but I know a thing or two, if you want you could PM the stuff to me and I can see if it makes any sense.

The babelfish translations often miss the meaning of what you're trying to say, and occasionally even screw up the grammar for complex phrases. It's a good tool, but for a small volume of important information, like this, I think Pagerron is wise to ask for some human help.

Yeah. I tried using that program... I put "send them to the castle" and when I translated it back (from German) it said, "send it to the lock."

At least I was able to carry a short conversation in Spanish over the internet thanks to that.

Those things are awful. They've terrible grammar when trying to translate complex sentences, and oftentimes they use uncommon vocabulary that can warp the context of what you're trying to translate.

I'm not totally fluent, but I'm in my fifth year of Spanish classes in college. I could give it a try if you want me to--though my skills are nothing next to a native speaker.
In the beginning the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and is widely considered as a bad move.

My girlfriend is from Spain. I don't want to give her a bunch of RPG Maker quotes, though.

But I hear jvrlopez is Mexican.
