I have an ipod and I love it a lot.

Also, ipod of courses goes really well with your indie style unless you kind of want that ironic look then I guess a Zune would be pretty alright.

It's all about the convenience of an iPod. It's the only MP3 player I can use while driving.

and all I use is a tape adapter to listen to my music while I'm driving, and that can go with anything that has a headphone jack.
yeah, there's a lot more support and accessories I'll never buy with the iPod, but I hear a lot of good things from people who have Zunes. plus, I'm getting an Xbox 360 and I like the connectivity there.

Yeah, I use a zune because MS forces me to buy more points than I need when I buy 360 stuff and I just use the leftover points for songs.

that doesn't have anything at all to do with my wanting something to listen to a large library of music in my car without having to rifle through my CD wallet every time I want to hear that one song by that one band. nothing at all.
