Do you guys still play the Dreamcast PSO? Because I just got a new Dreamcast and wanna play it badly. Also, Does it have a monthly fee? I haven't played it before aside from Betas. Thanks.

The DC PSO servers were shut down a while back. :( You should sign up for blue burst, it's basically the same thing... only better, I guess.

yeah, a few of us are doing the PSO: BB beta, and the great thing, is that you dont have to actually BUY the game when it comes out, just download it, and it will have only a $9 monthly fee instead of the $14, if i remember correctly.

Yeah, the beta's only for a month though.
I still have my old PSO copy.. I heard people were doing makeshift servers, but it was just a 3rd party rumor.
PS-OH YEAH!
cheating is so bad in regular pso, i can't imagine how bad it'll be on an all computer based pso. it wasn't "bad" though really. just rampant.

At least you couldn't PK in the newer versions. I f*cking hated that *****.
BAM! WATCH AS YOUR HP DROPS TO ZERO AND YOU HIT THE GROUND WITH A SICKENING THUD!
Or people would give you an item that would corrupt your character. Thankfully, I never had to deal with that.
I'm sure if there is cheating, it's just item/weapon/mag hacks. Maybe stats, who knows.

You don't lose your weapon and money in PSOBB from dying at least. Or.. maybe I've forgotten something.

you can still get online with the DC PSO games. you need to find one of the VERY well hidden private servers, and then download a special VMU file with the DC's web browser that will grant you access.
these people who run these servers dont want PKers and other retards getting in, so they dont even talk about them publicly. so you pretty much have to know someone already on the server.

all the characters are saved server side, and server side only in PSO:BB, so i dont think cheating is going to be as rampant in this version.
