I called 911 once, on my brother.

He was about to kill my other brother because he couldn't get on WoW.

Yeah.

I was like, three. And I was just tapping buttons on the phone and 911 came up. And when the firemen arrived my parents were like, "there's no emergency... oh, wait, that was our baby."

I have called it twice.

Once, a lady crashed her car in front of my house and she was slumped over the steering wheel bleeding.

The next time, my Mom woke me up at midnight because she thought she was having a heart attack. So there's me standing in the kitchen on the phone with 911, crying my eyes out with my Mom on her hands and knees on the floor telling me she's going to pass out any second now. The ambulance came and the paramedics told her she had just had an anxiety attack. I'm glad she didn't have a heart attack, but that was the most terrifying experience of my life.

Yup. Coming home from work one night at 1am. Pulled up to an intersection/red light. Drunk driver in a hummer SLAMMED into the back of the car parked beside me at 65 mph. Not a pretty sight.

When I was in elementry school I overheard an older middle school kid telling her friends that she had a gun and was going to shoot some teacher who's name I don't remember. So I picked up the payphone and dialed 911 and told them what I heard.

They went to the school and it turned out the girl actually had a gun.

Did it make you see life any differently from then on? Its strange to think that the only reason youre not dead/seriously maimed is because you decided to stay in that lane.

I was six, and there wasn't an emergency. Cop came right to the house. I sorely regretted that.

i havent but sez has and im sure she will tell you all about her stupidity. as a note if you dial more then 2 1's it still counts as dialing 911.

my mother called 911 many times. 2006 was a hellish year for me, my grandparents just kept nearly dieing

my grandma was on the verge of death for no apparent reason and nearly died (low blood pressure maybe, something wasnt letting her breath). my grandfather got dizzy and fell, smacking his head against the night stand and was bleeding tons of blood. in both cases they should of died because the injury was very serous and neither one knew about it or knew what to do without my mother being there.

i have no desire to call 911 in any shape or from. if an emergency arose and i had to to save a life id step in.

I did when I was like 4. I was playing some Tarzan Video Game and my brother and sister came and made me lose. I was really angry so I called 911 on them.

I have a couple times -once when we found a friend who had overdosed on isiline, beer, and Tylenol PM. another time when a group of workers and I found an overturned SUV. The woman's hand was split down to her wrist, and her skin on her knees had completely been mangled. The other guy couldn't feel their legs. Turns out later they were high.

there have been several times in my life where i probably should have called 911, but circumstances, or my own lack of considering it, prevented me from doing so.
