Banned from Xbox live WTF???

    Banned from Xbox live WTF???

    A couple days ago my friend and I decided to have some fun and do some forging for halo 3. After 3 hours of intese forging on 3 maps, we started playing the first map upon playing I found a glitch (No idea how I got in there, but it keeps happening and i dont even know how I did it). In the glitch I have a spartan tank inside the boundaries of the last resort map, I can shoot through it though, no one can see or shoot me. We decided to take our map to Xbox live and start the carnage, I got 12 first place games in my map. The last 2 games I was some how reported and a screenshot was taken of me glitching. The next day i go to my friends how we turn his 360 on and we try to log in and it said that this profile has been banned for unfair play or something. THEY DIDNT EVEN GIVE ME A WARNING... WTF???

      We got lotsa' experience though ^_^. But I dont know if the ban is perminent yet, though.

          YES... In a way, But we werent even warned or anything. I feel kind of bad though becuase, my friend payed for the Xbox live, but he was the one who actually got banned. The last 2 games I wasnt playing. I just found the glitch.

              If you're using a glitch or other means not intended by the game to get all of your wins, that's abusing the online policy. If there was proof of the abuse, you really have no room for say to defend yourself.

              They don't owe anyone a warning. It's in their policy that they can ban users without notice if the user is abusing the service, and when you went online you agreed to this.

                  I could understand a warning, seeing as most people wouldn't know the consequences of exposing a glitch like that, but your ban's probably just temporary.

                      I think when you start with "me and my friends" and "have some fun online" you can't be all that surprised when you get banned from whatever.
                      The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

                          Well we went to some Xbox live site and said we were sorry, and that we had no intentions of spreading the glitch. Also it was strictly just for the fun of listening to people explode because they didn't know who was killing them. It was kinda for the EXP but we didn't really care. An admin guy said that it wasn't very serious, but we should have never done it and we shouldn't ever do it again. I dont think glitching is a serious problem just close the server down for a couple hours and seal it up.
